Looper Review

So Looper is set in the year 2044 where people called Loopers are waiting to kill men from the future 2074. The main character Joe is one of these Loopers and then Joe realizes that they want to close the loop as it's called send their own future self to kill, things get out of control. So I liked this movie, the acting in this movie is just great. The chemistry between Joseph Gordon Levitt and Bruce Willis is just perfect and it's hard to believe that they really are not the same person. This movie just felt so real and it was just great when it came to that. Now as I said above there is time travel I this movie and I don't always like time travel movies. This one though was great it didn't get to much into detail with it, it just said what it was and that' was it was a way to send people back in time. That was all it really said about it it didn't explain hey this is what happens in the future if you did this and don't do this and that it just had a simple thing about and it just made the movie feel real. The action in this movie was just amazing and it hit right on the spot along with the visual effects and  script and all that was amazing. Now there was also quite a few twists and turns and I freaking loved them I could not take my eyes off the screen. I went and saw this movie when it first came out and I was with one of my friends and we were talking about just stupid stuff that was going to happen in this movie just putting stuff out here and he guessed something that I was like yeah ok and of course we are sitting in the movie watching it and it happened and he looked at me I just shook my head and smiled. But anyway lots of great twists and turns that I loved you never would have expected them coming and the movie was just very engaging because of that. So there is just a couple things that did bug me. The first is the movie did have its slow parts where I just wanted it go a little faster and get to the good stuff. Now the movie also takes place in the future and so I was hoping for some cool futuristic stuff and there were some but hen there was a lot of stuff that we have now. For example they had these cool flying motor bikes that they showed in one scene and then I he next they are driving this totally normal truck. Then like in another scene they got this cool door thing to see who's outside your door but then like the fridge in the house, mine I nicer than what they had. I just felt that was a little inconsistent and it bugged me a little. But all in all am awesome movie!!!!

So what are the people saying? A couple are saying that the movie shifts so it almost feels like it's more than one movie which I see where they are coming from somewhat, but I don't feel it was a negative at all. I'm reading through the reviews and some are saying that the trailer mislead them and I can see that the trailer shows a movie about time travel really and I felt that the movie just actually used it as something to build around this story so I'm ,y opinion not a negative.  Then there are also people, complaining about the time travel I the movie itself saying that there no consequences and all that crap but you know what I felt the movie said almost right away that this movie wasn't going. To be like other time traveling movies it just used it in its own way and I felt the way they used it was perfect. So to be honest a lot of great things being said about this movie quire a few negatives as well though and most of them having to do with the fact that this movie isn't a super sci fi movie it's not super complicated when it comes down to the sci fi. This though was a positive to me it wasn't super over the top like most sci fis yeah I did have problems with the technologies but it wasn't a total bring down, this movie is enjoyable and exciting and intriguing and if your not super big time travel nerd that is going to complain about that then you will love this movie just like I did.

So a great movie loved it I own it and will watch over and over again.

So as for A ratting I give it an 8/10
