Saving Mr. Banks

So Saving Mr. Banks is about the somewhat true story of P L Travelers or Mrs. Travelers as she likes to be called in the movie and she meets up with the one and only Walt Disney who is trying to get the rights to turn her book Mary Poppins into a movie. So let's get to it, I freaking loved this movie, it was just amazing. Let's first start with the acting Tim Hanks is Walt Disney and this movie and wow does he play that part, I loved him in this role he was just fantastic. Emma Thompson played the part of P L Travelers and she did just fantastic for this role. P L Travelers is the super proper British lady, she wants to be called Mrs and she wants everything just done properly, and she just killed it in these scenes. She's so proper at times that you just feel like she's kind of rude but she is being proper and it's just different than most would see things.The Oscars are coming up and I feel that this movie is going to get some nominations. Now the story was just great, I loved every bit of it. The movie is super interesting I don't really know how much of it is true but it was interesting to see how it went about. Some aren't liking this movie because it wasn't true enough, I say though just enjoy the movie for what it is the movie is really great if you just watch it. The movie goes back and forth between P 

L Travelers rough childhood to the present in the 1960s. I think this movie did just great with that I loved when she was having these flashbacks they just really worked with the times she had them. Now these flashbacks were sad at times and then at times it's just beautiful and extremely heartwarming and they were just so wonderful. Now this movie kind of just ended in my opinion in my opinion, this might be a spoiler to you I don't feel it is but here it goes the movie ends at the premiere of Mary Poppins and I don't feel that we really got to see the reaction from P L Travelers, during the movie she's says how much she hates certain things like songs and some characters and the actors who play them but while she's at the premiere she's laughing at times and crying at times and then just mad at times. I just feel like we could have benefited from a last scene where we found out what she thought. I've been reading up on this subject and I guess for the most part she absolutely hated the movie she didn't like the animation, she hated the music for the most part and she was very upset with Disney about this. I think that maybe to protect Disney's  memory and  reputation. Mary Poppins did go on to win many Oscars and many Oscar nominations and I do have to say I love the movie myself. This movie was just great though I want to watch it again and again and again I will be buying this when it comes out, I'm almost positive there will be some Oscar nominations this year for this movie, it's just an amazing movie.

So what are the people saying? So there are some who are saying that this movie is just not honest, they don't feel Walt was portrayed enough as the jerk that he could be at times. They didn't feel that the movie accurately portrayed what really happened, but again it's a movie enjoy it follow up on the rest later on after the movie is over it's still interesting and still good so just enjoy.  There are also people who felt the movie as overly long and boring, I disagree with that, as I said above I would have liked it to be longer and showed the reaction of Travelers. I really didn't find any of this movie to be a bore I loved every second of it. So besides that most liked and loved this movie and I personally loved this movie and it's going on my list of best movie of 2013 and I will have that list out soon :)

So as for a rating I'm going to give this movie a 9/10

Duck Dyansty

So today is movie news Monday and I really didn't feel there is really anything interesting in the news having to do with movies lately so I'm going to go with tv and talk about Duck Dynasty. So if you don't know one of the people in the show Phil said some things having to do with gays and how he didn't feel it was right and he said some other things that I don't feel we need to get into. So anyway the show might be cancelled or Phil might be kicked out whatever the show is in trouble because of this. Now do I feel it should be? No. I don't look we have the right to our opinion that's part of the reason why I have this blog to voice our opinion. Phil also mentioned something about the bible and that he believed the things he said because of the bible. That's just the freedom of your religion and he's just believing what he believes to be true. I have nothing against gays, I see no reason why we can't love who we want to love. Now Phil may have said things in a way that he kind of may of insulted people but I just feel he was voicing his opinion, so people need to grow up and we should just let this show continue, I hate this show, it's stupid and dumb in my opinion but it shouldn't be shutdown because of what Phil said.

Anger Management Review

Anger Management

So Anger Management is about a guy who is forced to take anger management classes after a mishap on a plane. So let's get this review started shall we. Now starting with the acting I would have to say Adam Sandler did a pretty good job he wasn't overly annoying or anything I used to be a fan of his but lately his movies just suck. Jack Nicholson plays the part of the anger management counselor  and be does just fantastic I just love him. So this story is pretty good I like the idea of a crazy anger management counselor that just goes nuts and over the top. I have to say though that I hate the ending to this movie I liked the idea of it but it was just done very poorly and it just ended up ruining the movie for me a little bit the movie is nothing great but it's a decent movie it will make you laugh there are some points where the comedy is just annoying but not to terrible. 

So what are the people saying? So quite a few people didn't feel the movie was very funny I don't agree with that, I do feel that there are parts if the movie that do get a little annoying as far as the comedy goes but I enjoyed the movie and laughed all the same. There are some who are saying that they wanted to like the movie because of Jack Nicholson and I somewhat agree with that the movie is better because of Jack Nicholson, without him the movie would probably suck. Other than that the movie has some pretty decent reviews, it is a funny movie the idea of the movie is pretty good I hated the end but other than that a pretty good movie.

So as for a ratting I give this movie a 6/10.

Mean Girls

Mean Girls

So Mean Girls is a movie about a girl who starts High a School and ends up becoming part of the cool girls group in the school called the plastics, but after a while she starts making mistakes and disaster starts to happen. So I actually enjoyed this movie it was pretty funny. It's one of those teenager comedies that you have to be at a certain age or born before a certain time to enjoy but I felt it was great. So the acting in the movie is decent it's nothing Oscar worthy but it's decent. The story again is more of a teenager kind of story I don't really feel a lot of adults would enjoy it but it is great.  The movie does make me laugh some of the humor is a little stupid but still a decent movie. 

So what are the people saying? So most are saying this movie is pretty darn good. A lot are saying how this movie is a teen flick but it's a great teen flick that is hard not to love. I really think the only thing that people are saying that  is and is that it is a teen flick and it's something that's just more of a teenager kind of thing. 

So as for the ratting of Mean Girls I give this movie a 7/10.

Bridesmaids Review

Bridesmaids Review

So Bridesmaids is about Annie who's best friend is getting married and she is the maid of honor, so Annie meets up with the other Bridesmaids and together they have some pretty awesome and hilarious times planning a weeding. So this movie is just great guys will love this movie gals will love this movie everyone will just love this movie. The acting in this movie is great, I love each and every actor and actress in this movie they are just all hilarious and great. Melissa McCarthy got nominated for her role in this movie and she earned that nomination. She lost that Oscar to Octavia Spencer for her role in The Help, now I haven't seen that one but I heard that she just did great. Now the story is just great,  the dialogue is just great the comedy was so great partly because a lot of things that happen just are real they feel so real and you've probably been in one of these situations. This movie also was nominated for an Oscar for Best Writing and Screenplay and I felt that it deserved that. The movie lost to Midnight in Paris and that movie was just phenomenal so it so I think that one deserved to win. The movie also has some really heartwarming parts that I loved and just was touched and moved. There was just nothing in this movie that I hated just a fantastic comedy.

So what are the people saying? Well some people were saying that the movie was trying to hard to be funny which was just crazy, the movie like I said above just felt so natural and great that it was just the perfect kind of funny. There also people saying that the movie is all over the place which is again just crazy!!! So besides that people saying that the movie is great and everyone will love it even guys.

So as for a ratting I'm going to give this comedy a much deserved 10/10.

Concerts

Concerts

So I apologize again for missing feelings Friday. I've been busy with work and I'm just exhausted. So anyway for feelings Friday I wanted to talk about concerts. So I hate concerts I'm a little uneasy around people so all those people would make me uncomfortable. I also think that a lot of time the singers suck in real life it might not just be because they suck but maybe because they sing so much on tour that their voice just gets worn out I don't know but anyway let's continue on. So I also have to say I hate people who run around drunk it's gross and disgusting and their are people like that at concerts and they are overly obnoxious so I hate that. You can almost never even see the people who are singing anyway so what's the point? I'd rather sit at home and enjoy it at home, I'd rather hear the sound of a great voice, at a level that I can still enjoy the music without ruining my ear drums! Maybe I'm a little old fashioned and old... I do say that a lot but that's just kind of the way I am. Just not a fan of concerts I love music and all but I just would just prefer to hear it at home.

The Breakfast Club Review

The Breakfast Club Review

So The Breakfast Club is about these five high schoolers who have to go to Saturday detention for different reasons and while in detention they find out that they are not so different. Now a lot of people like this movie however I hated it. We will start with the acting in this movie and it's great. Now the characters that they actors are playing I'm not so found of. There's like two of the five characters that I just hate and was just annoyed with them and I hated them. This movie was also just super predictable you know that there were just all sorts of problems with these kids and you just knew they were going to bond and kind of become friends. I also thought this movie was just boring it was just all talk and it really wasn't even that interesting in my opinion, I really didn't care about the characters and I didn't care about their stories. There were so many time where I wanted to stop watching this movie, I really did stop about halfway and then finish it tomorrow, it was just to boring. I will say I connected to these characters at one point or another and it slowly made me like the characters a little more but in the end their stories that I connected with didn't make it for me. 

So what are the people saying? Now there are some who agree with me that the movie is kind of boring and it feels like these characters are just thrown together and their stories are just boring. Now someone did say something that I kind of mentioned above and that's the stories of the characters I think everyone can connect with them and they are heart warming which does make the movie better. There are some people who enjoy this movie they feel that it's a great look,at the average high schooler life. People do connect with these stories and they love these stories. People do like the message of this movie and they love the statement that it brings out. I do liege the me sing but I just felt that it was delivered in a boring way. Now I'm not saying your going to hate this movie you might like the way it is done I just don't like the way the movie is delivered you might it's unique and you might just like it. 

So as for a ratting of The Breakfast Club I give this movie a 4/10

That's 70s Show Review

That 70s Show

So tonight I review my first tv show and we start with That 70s show! So this show went on to have 8 seasons and the show stars Topher Grace, Milan Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and more. So this show is about six friends in high school who have many adventures in their home town of Point Place Wisconsin. So I have to say I really liked this show I watched all eight seasons in a matter of weeks. This show was great in terms of acting I loved the characters and hoe the actors played these characters. I also have to say I really connected with these characters in some way or another each character had there own problems and situations that they went thought that I think everyone can connect to. Now there is something that I need to mention that is something that happens in a lot of episodes. The kids get high and they sit in this little circle and each character talks about something and the camera circles around to the next person in the circle and it's so funny and cleaver and I just loved it. So something I have to say I didn't like about this show was season 8 period! Two of the main characters Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher's character are not in this season. It was just stupid to me to continue on without two of the main characters. Now they try to fill in the empty spots they add in this new guy is annoying and stupid in my opinion and he just shows up which is annoying. Then there is also a character who was a small character in other seasons and I eventually just hated his character to which I used to like but he just got annoying. So this show could have been really great but it went a little to far with season eight and just ruined it in my opinion. 

So what are the people saying? So I think there is a lot of agreement that the show is pretty great. The show is funny, it's got heart but there is also a lot of agreement that show just went downhill ever since we lost some characters, there is also a lot of talk that seem seasons even before lost its greatness when two of the main characters broke up and the characters just kind of became different people I guess is what I'm getting out of the reviews. I see where they are going with that to and I agree in a sense the shows best parts are at the beginning seasons. It just seemed the show lost some of its heart and comedy.

So anyway a great show that I think you should check out you can maybe skip the last season but otherwise a fantastic show. As for a ratting I give this show a 7/10.

Overexposed Review

Overexposed Review

So it's Tunes Thursday and today I'm reviewing the album Overexposed from Maroon 5. So I lie Maroon 5 Adam Levine is the lead singer and I love his voice, he's got this great high voice that when he uses it and when he's uses it right he just sounds great. Now I have to really think about my favorite song for this album and I don't think I would say that I have a favorite song.  I think it would be a tie between three songs, Payphone, Daylight, and Love Somebody. I had all three of these songs on repeat and constantly stuck in my head this last summer and I just can't pick. So a lot of these songs are break up songs which actually makes sense seeing as most of this albums songs were written by Levine. I love these songs they connect with me and I love it. If the songs aren't about break ups then a lot are about relationships and even these songs connect with me. There is maybe one song on this album that I wouldn't say I hate but it's not something to listen to everyday. So anyway a great album I love it and I'm going to give this album a 10/10!!!

Don Jon Review

Don Jon Review

So Don Jon is a movie about a normal guy, his normal day to day activities include family, church, working out, picking up women and well porn, and Jon starts to decide that porn is better than actual sex. Well I have to say I did enjoy this movie. I think it might be harder for a girl to like this movie because of the fact that it's kind of a guy thing I don't know how else to explain it but it's more of a guy film in my opinion. So I think part of the reason I liked this movie is because I could relate to this guy. Now this is awkward to talk about but this is the This and That blog and we do talk about everything so yes I've looked at porn and no I don't think it's a big deal, now I'm not as bad as a lot of guys like the character in this movie but I don't think it's that big of a deal. The movie did talk about religion and church and the main character confessed to masturbating, I'm not religious but I really don't feel that this is a sin. That's my opinion believe what you would like but that's what I think.So Joseph Gordon Levitt is the star, writer and director, and he kills it in EVERYTHING. I knew this guy was a great actor but holy crap, this guy is going to be bringing us some great things in the future because the movie was just phenomenal. Now I do have to say I was bored in some spots some things just happened over and over again and it got boring at times. I also felt that there were a few characters that just didn't feel like they needed to be in there. I also felt that there was this one relationship that just felt awkward to me and I just didn't like it. So this movie was interesting, I related to this movie and I enjoyed this movie.

So what do the people think? So there are a few who felt that the whole porn was just weird and they didn't like the movie because of the that and they were females who did those reviews so I'm not surprised there. There were a few who also said that the movie was repetitive and I do agree with that a bit it made the movie a little boring at times. Besides that I've read some really great things. This is Joseph Gordon Levitt's directorial debut and it's also his first time writing so I think we can all just forgive everything he did wrong and just realize how wonderful he did on his first time.

So as for a  ratting of this movie I'm going to give it a 6/10

Diary

Diaries 

So first off Merry Christmas and for my readers all over the world happy late Christmas or early Christmas. I hope nothing but happiness and peace with your family and friends. So onto my post tonight, today is Whatever Wednesday and today we talk about Diaries. So I have a diary and I don't write in it as much as I should but I think that diaries are important it's nice to be able to look back and see what you've done, it's nice for your family and friends after your gone. Now I realize how busy we are now a days but even if you spent 10-15 minutes a week putting down your thoughts it's just something to do. I think of my favorite show How I Met Your Mother and the main character talks about after he breaks up with a girl he writes a letter to himself telling himself why they won't work, and a diary could tell you this kind of stuff it just might be helpful in the future. So maybe think about doing a dairy it might just be helpful in the future, you might like to look back and read those things. Give it a thought.

Well Merry Christmas all I have a lot of movie reviews to review for you all but I've been busy with work and such so I will give you some more reviews soon.

Trailer Tuesday

Transcendence Trailer Review

Well it's trailer Tuesday and today's trailer is Transcendence! So this movie stars Johnny Depp which I like him in certain roles and this one looks like it might be good. This movie also,stars Morgan Freeman so it definitely has me wanting to watch. So it sounds like this scientist downloads his body and memory or something into this computer and he just becomes this awesome weird scientist dude. Now this movie is a science fiction movie and I don't usually like them but it looks like a lighter science fiction which I like. The director is new at directing but he has won and has been nominated for oscars for cinematography and has worked with one of my favorite directors Christopher Nolan so I'm excited for this movie it looks cool and I'm intrigued.

Should there be an Oscar for best animated voice?

So today is Monday so that means movie news Monday and today's question is should they have an Oscar for voice in a animated movie and this is something that I'm just not sure about. I think about someone like Andy Circus he is animated in the movies he's in but he does move and he does do the voice for the movies so I feel he definitely should. I think about other movies though, some actors are just talking using their own voice and in that way no I don't feel they should get one. There are however actors who you can't tell it's them and when you watch the extras they use their facial expressions and move to make it work that they probably should be able to get an Oscar. So I don't know, this is something that is sketchy and would be sometimes considered a easy Oscar in my opinion, I don't feel they would ever add this to the list but you never know.

Christmas Vacation Review

Christmas Vacation

So Christmas Vacation is about family man Clark Griswold who is planning on having this great big family Christmas at his house with all the family and it ends up being disastrous. So I love this movie and it's a Christmas one that I actually enjoy. Chevy Chase is the lead actor as Clark and he just nails it. I love him in this character he was just born to play third character. Now I love the story of this movie it's so simple and it's just so real everyone has problems with these kind of things especially around the holidays, I felt this movie was just hilarious and I loved it so much and I was laughing so hard watching this movie. I've seen it a thousand times and I still laugh at it now. The movie is just great and I loved it. So just hilarious and a great holiday movie.

So what are the people saying? Well pretty much the same things, the movie is so relatable and funny. This movie is just great. There's not a whole lot to say except that's it's great and hilarious and a great holiday movie that you will want to watch again and again. So for another new kind of personal ratting I'm going to give this movie a buy, buy, buy ratting along with a ratting of 10/10!!! It's just that great of a holiday movie and just a great comedy to watch no matter what time of year it is.

Marley and Me Review

Marley and Me

So Marley and Me is based on a book that is based on a true story and it is a story about a couple who are not sure that they are ready for kids so they adopt this puppy and they learn the meaning of family  and life from a terribly mis behaved dog. So the acting in this movie is decent the lead actors are Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston and they did do decent. Now the story goes through like 15 years of time, the entire life of the dog Marley. The movie is a little under two hours and I felt that it was rushed and could have been longer. There is a part in the movie where like two or three years go by and he's just saying these phrases like we had Christmas here and then another thing and another thing and it just felt rushed. Now I do like this movie it is just heartwarming and I'm a sucker for a animal movie especially dogs. So I do like it. I do however need to say that they movie should have probably have been PG13 there is a skinny dipping scene it's not graphic but it's there and there is lots of sexual references and I don't feel it's appropriate for kids.

So what are the people saying?  Well some are saying it is a bore and I don't really agree with that there are kind of parts that are a little uninteresting and unneeded. I love what someone said that you will like this movie and you will want to buy a dog immediately afterwards. So I think for the most part the people who didn't like it said it was slow and boring in my opinion it did the book justice and I loved it. There were also a lot who said they liked this movie have a Koenig with you when your watching it and if you love dogs then you'll love this movie. 

So for a ratting of Marley and Me I give it a 8/10

Jobs Review

Jobs Review

Hello so I want to first say that I'm sorry that I didn't get to post something for My special thin on Friday. It's going to be called Feelings Friday it's where I talk about my angry feelings about something things that just drive me nuts. So anyway on to this review. So Jobs is a movie about Steve Jobs the creator of Apple and it goes throughout some of his life starting from college up until Apples success. So this movie was decent, Ashton Kutcher looks and acts the part of Steve Job in my opinion  he isn't an Oscar winner but it is a pretty good performance. Now I thought this movie was decent, I thought the movie was a little slow at times and I did feel that it skipped around a lot. Now the movies a little over 2 hours and I kind of felt that it could have been longer. Now I am an apple fan, however I really don't know much about Steve Jobs so I just want to say that up front. I felt this movie was decent I thought it was pretty informative and interesting but I don't know if any of it was true, I do think there were some things that it could have explained in more depth, I just felt a lot of things were left out or not put enough meaning on. There were some conflicts that lasted like two minutes and I feel like they lasted like months in real life and it just didn't feel lie, they put enough time into it. I also want to talk about the script I felt there just wasn't enough it I guess and that the stuff they did have was just kind of ehh and not at all what it could have been. I just would have liked more talks, more angry people, and better information. 

Now what do the people think? Now so there are some agreeing with me about how the movie spent so much time worrying about the highlights that we didn't get to see the inside of the highlights. I liked what someone said that the movie was more about the highlights of Apple and not Jobs himself and I agree with that, we just didn't get to see why Jobs was the way he was and what happened in his life. I also liked what another said which about sums it all up, the movie is a slow movie that throws a bunch of information in your face that you don't necessarily care a bout. There is also a lot of people who have complained that they didn't show how Jobs really acted how mean of a person he was and how he just wasn't represented correctly, however I didn't know that much about him so I can't say anything not that.

So a decent movie I'm planning on looking up more stuff on jobs I would like to see what was all true and what wasn't and what he all did.

But for now for a ratting I'm going to have to give this movie a 5/10.

The Wolverine Review

The Wolverine

So The Wolverine is about well... Wolverine and he is summoned to Japan where he meets this person he had saved at one point and time and this guy is super rich and famous and he's about to die and before he dies he decides he wants to give Wolverine a gift. A chance to give Wolverine a chance to have a normal life, live it, and then die. So I liked this movie especially after the last Wolverine movie that I just like to pretend never happened because it was stupid. I think this was just a great Wolverine movie. Hugh Jackman is The Wolverine and there should never be anyone ever playing this character but him he's just the perfect person for it. When he no longer does this character I'm just never going to be able to watch an X Men movie again. I hated the X Men first class and I think it's because he was only in the movie for like two seconds. Anyway back to the movie, the script and story and dialogue were all great this movie was just wonderful for an X Men movie. The action in this movie was pretty darn awesome there were a few scenes where I was getting sick because of shaky cam but it was very few scenes. There were a couple times where the effects were iffy but really nothing terrible. So for everything that makes an awesome X Men movie it did it so a great great movie I had such a great time watching it.

So what do the people think? So some are saying the movie lacks in plot and I don't agree with that the movie was just so engaging it was hard not to take my eyes off the screen. There are also people, saying that the movie didn't feel like a superhero movie and I so agree with that but I still feel that the movie had enough Wolverine that I just enjoyed the heck out of this movie. Some more are saying that the movie is just unbelievable and just to CGI and I don't agree with that the movie was great just a great superhero movie. So the rest if the people thought the movie was great the only bad things were really just people hating the plot for some reason. 

So I loved this movie a great great action movie and a great X Men movie so as for a ratting I'm going to give The Wolverine a 7/10

The Naked Gun 33 1/3

The Naked Gun 33 1/3

So it's time for my final review in The Naked Gun Trilogy. So in this one Frank has come out of retirement which he did at the end of the last movie, to help stop a group of terrorists who are planning to put off a bomb at the Academy Awards. Now again just a stupid but hilarious movie, but I love it. So again Leslie Nielsen is just great in this movie he plays the part just perfectly. Now as far as the story goes this one is my favorite of the three Frank goes undercover with the bad guys in this one and I just love how much more engaging this one is out of the three. Now in the last review I had a complaint about some of the humor and it even says at the top of this poster mostly new jokes there are some of the same jokes and humor and it was boring after three movie but there was some new humor that I loved. Another thing I didn't like is Jane and Frank are having relationship problems again, I just got sick of it and just thought that they should have done something else with that relationship. But anyway for the rest of the movie I did like it not as good as the original but worth watching and something good to watch when you need a laugh.

So what are the people saying? Again the people who hated this movie hated the humor and I understand that it's just that kind of humor. There were also a few people who were saying that this one was better than the second which I agree with the second one just wasn't my favorite at all. 

Now as for the ratting I give The Naked Gun 331/3 a 6/10.

Now I wanted to answer a question that some have asked me who is better Frank or Austin Powers. I have thought long and hard about this and it's a close call  but as far as the character I like more it's Austin Powers he's just awesome and a spy which I love. The movies are about the same as far as great movies, the humor they are tied, the villains Dr. evil wins there's just so many things I could talk a  bout  I might even do it's own post on it sometime.

The Naked Gun 2 1/2 Review

So The Naked Gun 2 1/2 takes place two years after the first one. Jane and Franks weeding didn't work out and now she's dating some other guy and he has this plot to kidnap a scientist who knows a thing about nuclear related thing that could kill a lot of people. Well again this movie is just stupid but hilarious. Leslie Nielsen just kills It as Frank, I love how goofy and great he is again. All of the old cast is back and my favorite new comer is Richard Griffins I was so devastated when he died this year. Again the movie is just stupid and silly and I love it. I can again see why some people won't like this it's just that kind of humor. So I didn't feel this one was as good as the first one, I felt they used a lot of the same jokes and such as they did in the first one with this one. I still thought this movie was great, I still thought the movie was just hilarious but not quite as good as the first. So all in all a great movie and definitely worth watching I can understand if you don't like this movie because of the humor.

So what are the people saying? Still people hating the movie because of its humor but I understood that. Otherwise great things being said if you love a dumb comedy and you wasn't to laugh this is the movie for you.

So as for my ratting this movie gets a 6/10

The Naked Gun Review

The Naked Gun Review

So tonight I review the movie The Naked Gun, this movie is about this goofy nutty brainless cop who  has to stop this attempt of an assassination of The Queen. So this movie is kind of like Austin Powers if you've read my reviews of them or if you've seen the movies them you know. But this movie is meant to be stupid and it's meant to be funny. I have to say just like Austin Powers I love these movies. You just can't help but laugh. Now Leslie Nielsen is the main character and he's perfect for this character he's just the perfect goofy guy. There are talks that they are going to reboot this franchise and I just think it's nuts and the guy the guy they want to replace him with is Ed Helms, not that I don't like Helms I just don't think him or anyone can do what this movie had done, I just think the movie will suck. Now like I said with Austin Powers if you hate this movie I can understand that, it's a kind of humor that you just have to like, if you don't like it I can understand it's just so stupid but I just loved it. So all in all in my opinion just a great movie to watch when you need a laugh if you don't like it I can understand that.

Now what are the people saying? Well I can honestly say that there is actually a lot of positive feedback on this one. There was one person who said that if you can take your mental age and bring it back to age 14 you'll love it, and I agree just try to be young again and you'll be able to enjoy this movie take it for what it is and not judge it harshly just love it for what it is. Now for the negative reviews it's just people who don't like the type of comedy it is which I have said I get do mostly good things to be honest. 

Now people have asked me which I like better, Austin Powers or Naked Gun? It's really hard for me to decide which is better, so I'm going to think about as I'm watching the rest of The Naked Gun trilogy and will let you know by the end of those reviews.

So as for my ratting for The Naked Gun I'm going to give this movie a 7/10.

Billy Ray Cyrus Back To Tennessee

Billy Ray Cyrus- Back To Tennessee

So today is Thursday so that mean Tunes Thursday. So on Thursdays I'm going to talk about an album or a song that's stuck in my head that I want to talk about. So this one is Billy Ray Cyrus Back to Tennessee. Now B.R.C isn't exactly popular now a days he never really has he had a few songs but otherwise he hasn't done much and hasn't achieved all that much. I do however have to say that I like his voice. This album is decent I have about half of the songs on my phone. My favorite song off this album is Somebody Said a Prayer, it's a song about holding on and having the strength to move on. This song just really connects to me. Now the album starts out with the song Back to Tennessee and I like this song it's got a great meaning and it is an upbeat song. The last song on this album is a song that B.RC sings with his daughter Miley. Now I don't really lie, Miley all that much one but she does have a great voice as well and the song is about the relationship between father and daughter and it is sweet. So I thinks it's a great ending song. Now there are some things that don't like about this album, first of all there are just to many slow songs that are just to boring and just not even worth listening to.  Now a few of the songs B.R.C helped write but most of them were written by someone else. Now I don't mind this but personally I feel that if your writing you there's more passion, more meaning to the song when your singing it. 

So a decent album I on,y liked about half the songs, has a great song that just lifts you up so as for a ratting I'm going to give thus album an 6/10.

Prisoners Reciew

    Prisoners 

So Prisoners is a movie  about two girls who are abducted and when one of the girls fathers is not satisfied with the authorities efforts to find the girls he takes matters into his own hands.

Now I want to start out byte get he acting in this movie is awesome. Hugh Jackman especially he better get an oscar for best actor or at least nominated. He was just incredible he's performance was just so believable. There were times when someone was pissing off Hugh's character and I was literally yelling saying seriously dude why are you doing this? He's the Wolverine don't piss the Wolverine off, not a good idea! All the other actors were amazing to. But I wanted to mention Hugh Jackman because was just the greatest but everyone else was also amazing.

I also thought the plot and script were amazing to. There were so many great twists and turns I loved every second of it. I especially loved the ending I thought it was just perfect for an abduction movie. I went with my cousin and she didn't like it as much but I personally loved it. I thought the dialog was great to they all said all of the right things. It was chilling at times the things that were said.

Now I've looked at other peoples reviews. Some have said Jake Gyllenhalls performance was that great I disagree! He was fantastic in my opinion just amazing. He's frustration in the case was just so believable in my opinion. I've also read that there were some scenes and some points in the movie that were unnecessary. I 100% disagree. The movie was 2 1/2 hours but I wouldn't take a single scene out. It was just wonderful.

So I really found nothing wrong with this movie so I'm going to have to give this movie a 10/10 it was just amazing!!!

Should you have to work during the holidays?

Should you have to work during the holidays?

So today is Wednesday and it will for now be known as Whatever Wednesday where I pick a random topic to talk about NOT related to movies ;) so today's topic is should we have to work on holidays? My response is depends. I work at a place that you need to work during the holidays and I don't care I guess because I'm not doing anything during the holidays but for the people who do have families and stuff and do mind working the holidays I don't feel they should have to. I also feel that they should be getting something besides getting their regular pay for working, a meal at least, my work give us a time and a half which is plenty of motivation to work. I do also feel that if they do have to work then the day should be an easy day there shouldn't be a hundred chores just the bare minimal to get the place going. So I guess someday if I ever become a boss I'll ask around, if there are people willing to work and enough to be open then the place will be open but otherwise no it's just not right in my opinion. Holidays are a time for family and friends I may not really have those things but I think that's why it's so important to me. I do love movies as you may now... Dang I talked about movies well oh well that's going to be hard not to do ;) anyway in so many movies the message has to do with family and how important that is and me not having those things makes me see how important it really is. I am so happy with our local business when they said that they won't open the before Black Friday. Family is the most important thing make sure you know that, you will regret it. People at times think I'm gay because whatever my friends want and need I get and I try to spend as much time as I can with them. I'm not gay however I just treat my friends as my family because it is all that I have and I'm going to treat them like family. My best friend is my dad I call him dad I love him more than anything in the world, he's saved my life and treats me like a son. I have a fake dad and I realize everyday how much he means to me. For those of you reading a lot of you must have family and you must realize how important your family is. So riot so yell scream whatever you have to do to get your  holiday to send time with family!!!!!

22 Jump Street Trailer Review

22 Jump Street Trailer Review

Hey so today I want to start out by saying that I'm going to start mixing things up a little bit. Everyday I'm going to talk about something different in order to give a little more variety to he blog so for example Tuesday is Trailer Tuesday. So today's trailer 22 Jump Street. Well this movie brings back all of the old characters from the first and this time our two comedic heroes are going to college to try and figure out who the drug lord is. So I have to say I love this trailer. I was laughing just from watching the trailer, the movie does seem to be the same as the first movie which could be good or bad for example The Hangover Part two. This one however looks pretty good and I'm excited to see this one. I also love the end of this trailer, they bring back the drug lords from the last movie for help which I think will be just hilarious. So this trailer looks good and I got high hopes for this one.

Daylight Savings

Daylight Savings

So it's time to take a break from movies and talk about everyday things. So I thought I'd talk about daylight savings. So this is going to be a shorter post but I thought I would put out my opinion. I hate Daylight Savings it's so confusing with the time change and I hate right now how it's 7 and it looks like its midnight out there. I mean I know why we do it but it's just not really a reason to me to do it I just think it's just dumb dumb dumb. I personally kind of feel like it's just a way to screw all of us up everything just had to be so confusing and complicated just for the heck of it I feel like sometimes. So I don't know just kind of dumb and stupid and I just wish there was less things in the world that are confusing me it just sucks.

The American Review

The American

So The American stars George Clooney who is a hit man who goes to Italy on an assignment. Well yes it's a simple premise and one that I don't think went well. I do like simple premises but this one I just thought was boring. The movie sounds like it would be this awesome action movie and well it wasn't. This movie was really nothing but talking there was a whole two two minute action scenes. The movie started out with the kind of cool scene but then the rest of the movie Clooney's character was walking, or driving, or watching, or making, having sex with someone. It was all just boring it was all just talk. It felt like a Bond movie but it was all the Bond movies and it was just all the dialog from the movies and none of the awesome action. This movie was so much dialogue that at about half way in this movie I grabbed my phone and started playing temple run and I still got everything. I needed to get out of this movie. So yeah this movie was just boring. I enjoyed the acting that as good but just everything about this was boring. 

So what are the people saying? Well they are actually saying good things. A few are saying the same as me it's boring and they are also saying its predictable and now that I've seen that I do agree with that. Some more are saying its slow which I also agree with. So a lot are saying this movie has all the elements to a great movie not in my opinion however, I just felt this movie was boring.

So as for a ratting of this movie I'm going to give it a 4/10. With a little ratting of my own this movie is a movie to watch when you want to catch up on your video game playing on your I pad and phone.

Yes Man Review

Yes Man

So Yes Man is the story of a man who does nothing everyday it's movies and work for him, he never takes chances never gets out he basically has no life until he attends this seminar that makes him have to say Yes to everything! So I liked this movie I kind of relate this oxen because well my life is movie and work and that's about it. So on the with the review. So the acting in this movie is decent it's nothing spectacular but for what the movie is it's good. Now the movie is a comedy and there are parts where the movie is just kind of slap in your face comedy, but for the most part it is just good

 comedy. I love the love story of this movie Zooey Deschanel is great and I love her. I think the story was pretty good a little bit predictable, I liked the lesson of this story it makes you think are you living a fulfilling your live?  Are you living it to the best of your ability and I liked that. So it's a decent story, it is pretty funny, and I love Jim Carrey.

So what are the people saying? Well a lot of people are saying that the movie isn't very funny I thought it was funny enough. A lot are saying that this is just the end for Jim Carrey and he could do better but I thought he did great and I liked him in this role. I like what someone said that if your a Jim Carrey fan then your going to like this movie. The movie is a light and fun comedy and I enjoyed it and if you can enjoy this movie for what it is then I think you'll like this one.

So as for my ratting I'm going to give this movie a 6/10

Gravity Review

Gravity

So Gravity is a movie about two astronauts who work together to survive an accident that has them floating around in space. Well all it have to say is holy mother of freaking god my mind has officially been blown!!!! This movie was just freaking amazing!!!!  The movie is kind of one of those movies where they are lost and all alone and they have to struggle to survive, except one big difference it takes place In space!!!! The premise sounds kind of simple and boring but let me tell you not a dull moment in this movie!!!! I watched this movie on my I pad last night and I had to go to the bathroom but I didn't want to pause so brought it with me and set it on the top of the toilet I just couldn't stop watching it the movie was just amazing!!!! Well Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are the two and really only actors in this movie both are just fantastic. Sandra should at least be nominated if not win the actress for this movie. You just saw the fear and felt the fear that she was going through. So the story and the script were both phenomenal!!! It was done just so well. It was just amazing. Now I'm going to talk about camera angles just amazing, lots of the shots were done so that it looked like we were watching through the eyes of Sandra's character. These shots just made me feel like I was there, when she was scared I was even more scared I was just freaking sweating throughout this movie I was just that freaked out I felt like I was there through every part of it. The music was also just amazing it made the movie even more intense and I think I'm going to be getting it and using it as my bad ass music it's just that epic!!!! I also need to talk about this one thing that has to do with sound. So in space you really don't hear anything because it's space and in the movie there is times where you are watching through the eyes of a character and you see this stuff tearing things to pieces and what do you hear... Nothing!!!! It was just awesome and amazing oh my freaking god just amazing it felt so real and I just screamed at these parts literally screamed it was just amazing. Now the last thing I need to talk about is the special effects and holy if I didn't what to insult anyone I would use this word. I could not tell at all for a lot of this movie that these were special effects it just looked that real I felt lie, it was really filmed in space. So no complaints from this movie just amazing and I absolutely loved it.

So what do the people think? Well there are mostly people just praising this movie as am I. There are are complaining about the story and the script. They are trying there really is not a script and that this is a negative, well first of all the script is great in my opinion and you know what movie won best picture two years ago? Oh yeah that's right The Artist and guess what there was NO script it wasa silent   movie and it was an amazing movie that won best freaking picture a movie is not bad because there isn't any words!!!!! Now the premise yes is a simple one it's a survival story survival stories don't need to be much of a story. So you people, that hate this movie, I'm sorry but your stupid  and I say this with the utmost respect.

So as for my ratting I give the movie a 10/10. I would give it a freaking 100/10 if I could give it that but the movie scale is out of 10.

So Cloud Atlas is a science fiction and it's hard to explain what this movie about but I will explain it as best as I can, so it's about how one decision can effect you in the past present and the future. It does this by going through the lives of six different people. So this movie is a thinker and I knew that before watching it and I did the best I could but I still had a hard time. The actors in this movie are all phenomenal. Tom Hanks Hallie Berry are the leads I guess for this movie and they were good. The special effects were just amazing, I loved it. However the story is what I need to talk about, there are six different characters stories going on and one minute it's on someone story then it goes to the past to someone else stories. This movie was just choppy and unorganized like they filmed parts of this movie and just threw it in there in no particular order and I hated. Now I liked the meaning the whole one decision can effect you at any time but I just don't think they really did it right. Also I didn't something, so the actors are playing like six different people in the same movie did they come back to life as the same person or are they different people? I'm just left with so many questions and I didn't understand it. I like the story's that they come up with I just felt that they messed it up. I also felt at times this movie was slow and boring at times there were a few things that I felt didn't need to be in there, I think that this movie could have been like two hours instead of three hours. So I guess for an ending statement here I didn't like it.

So what did the people think? Well not much to report really I think people really agreed with me that the movie was long and didn't need to be and the movie was just all messed up. Now I want to say that there are a few reviews that are good and what they said is true in my opinion. I think your either going to like this movie or your going to hate it I don't think there's a middle really here. If your a thinker and I like this kind of stuff then you might like it but if you just can't do it well your going to hate it.

So as for my ratting I give this movie an 4/10. The movie was just so confusing and the only thing really that's going for it is the acting in my opinion.
